Wantable Midsize Activewear Review

In a previous post I walked y'all through my experience with Wantable for everyday clothes but I also wanted to test drive their activewear box option. I typically run and do circuit training or our Peloton bike at least five days a week so I am always on the lookout for good activewear. I am lucky enough to live near an UnderArmour and Nike outlet so I can get pretty good quality activewear clothes from there and I've recently gotten into Sweaty Betty but I thought the Wantable activewear box would be a good idea to try new brands.

If you check out my previous post I ran you through how Wantable works but you basically fill out a style quiz and your typical sizes in clothes and then pay a $20 styling fee that is a credit towards any item you decide to keep.

Wantable sent me a total of 7 different items. The cheapest was the the Keyhole Back Muscle Tank from their own line Interval by Wantable at $39.00 and the most expensive was the Pocket Capri in Navy also by Interval at $68.00

This first photo shows the Pocket Capris and the Contrast Bra in Mystic Garden by Gottex Studio. I really liked the capri pants but they were too big for me. I always appreciate when workout pants have pockets and that was one of notes I included for the stylist. The sports bra was a fun print and felt nice but wasn't anything I wanted to keep at $52.00 for the bra. On Wantable's site you can go to their Stream tab and select items you'd like to have included in your box. This sports bra was one of the items I had marked as "request" on the stream page.

I then tried on the Keyhole Back Muscle Tank. It was a soft fabric but really didn't feel very moisture wicking which is my preferred workout material. I wore this shirt on a dog walk and it was comfy and I do like the color and back detail. I ended up deciding to keep this shift as it worked for my needs, was the least expensive and I didn't want to send everything back and lose my $20 styling fee towards an item.

Next are the two outwear items sent. The Baby Champ Teddy Sweatshirt by Alternative Apparel for $58 and the Front Pocket Raglan Hoodie from Ocean Drive for $54. The hoodie was way too long and not flattering on me but I did like the sweatshirt, just not for $58.

Finally I tried on the Georgia Tee Shirt from Strut-This for $62 and the Geri Woven Short from Marika for $45. These shorts were way too short and tight for me. The shirt fit fine but black and white tie die really doesn't go with my personal style.

Overall I was a bit disappointed with the fit of the box from Wantable. Everything came in a size L but the capris and hoodie were too big and the shorts wayyy too tight. I also had the same complaint as last time where all the items were more expensive than what I would usually pay. You can also search for these individual brands and items on Google Shopping and find tons of discounts. I ended up sending everything back except for my Keyhole Back tank and I'm not sure I would do another box. I think if you are not a big shopping fan Wantable could be a good option, and you aren't willing to hunt for a coupon code, but I love looking for deals and have a very specific idea of what kind of clothes and colors I like on me so I think the box is just not a good fit for me personally.

I'd love to know if you have tried Wantable or another clothing box like it? Let me know in the comments below!
