Birchbox September 2016 - Multitaskers

Birchbox September 2016

Multitaskers

Multitaskers

Y'all this month's Birchbox was amazing! Five great products that they have labeled as the "multitaskers." I receive a lot of subscription boxes... maybe because I have a real commitment problem with forking out a lot of money for products that are full sized but I will gladly spend the equivalent for a bunch of little sample products! Is anyone else like that?

Anyway this month's Birchbox could quite possibly be my favorite one yet! So without further ado, lets get crackin'. I wanted to share the product description that came in the box and my own thoughts on the products.

Avenue Thermal Spring Water - Use this hydrating mist as a toner, a mid-day refresher. or to calm skin when it's stressed. Bonus fact: it also sets makeup.
Very nice so far! I really like spray waters because I have such dry skin and where I work I often get very dehydrated. Its always lovely if you wake up in the middle of the night and need a quick relax to fall back asleep!

After using evo straightening balm
and Klorane Dry Shampoo

evo easy tiger straightening balm - This styling balm takes care of any frizz, goofiness, or flyaway by infusing hair with intense moisture.
This worked but I'm not sure it really helped my hair enough for me to repurchase. As you can see in the above photo, I still have a bit of frizziness in the back and on the ends. The area that did get the most is looking a bit stringy towards the front as well.

Klorane - Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk - Naturally tinted for brunettes, this formula absorbs grease and revives second-day hair with soothing oat milk.
So this did work and smelled great, however I'm not sure if its a big enough difference for me to want to go online, order and wait for it... if that makes sense? I think I'd still be perfectly happy with my Dove dry shampoo.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - This creamy cleanser sweeps away dirt and makeup while gently exfoliating.
So I've only tried this once and honestly I don't know if its for me. It made my skin very tight although I have heard really good things about this product so it might just be my particular skin concerns. I usually love the CeraVe cleanser or if I need a bit more oomph I use the Origins GinZing one.

Wearing the Milk Perk on both lips and cheeks

Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek (Perk) - This lip and cheek stick with Milk Melt Technology melts on contact with body heat for sheer, buildable, fuss-free color that you can apply even with your eyes closed.
Umm... LOVE! I love products like this because of the texture on my skin. I am all about that glow usually so products like this always make me feel so lovely!

What do y'all think? Have you tried any of these products?
